We will start at 10:00 am and hike the five-mile loop along the beach and back through the forest. We should be back in Port Townsend by 1:00 or 2:00 pm. There’s a minus tide that morning, so we’ll explore the rocky, slippery intertidal zone as we head down the beach.
Wear shoes that have rugged soles and that can get wet, and dress in layers for changing weather. Bring a field guide to plants, birds, marine invertebrates or insects (if you have one), binoculars, and food and water.
There is no limit to the size of this group. For carpool information, other details, and to RSVP, please contact Pat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
