Join the Natural History Society for a fall walk on Cappy’s Trails. There’s a special magic in the woods as the weather turns and the days grow short… Plants and wildlife are responding to the shift in seasons and preparing for the winter ahead. What signs of fall can we observe in the forests and wetlands around Cappy’s Trails?
On Monday, November 6, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, Ken Wilson and Caroline Robertson will lead a leisurely stroll through the woods to observe signs of autumn on the Quimper Peninsula.
Dress comfortably for a slow walk in fall weather, and bring your field guides. If we’re lucky, the autumn rains will bring a variety of mushrooms to identify and learn about.
RSVP to Janell at JLTnatural@saveland.org for location and details.
