Winter Nature Photography at Anderson Lake

Bring your camera for an outing planned at Anderson Lake to explore nature photography with the Natural History Society.

Join photographers Stephen Cunliffe and Wendy Feltham on Wednesday, December 6, to observe and capture the beauty of winter.

As prize-winning nature photographer Stephen Cunliffe explains, “photography is all about seeing and visualizing, then catching what  you visualize.”

We’ll gather at a rendezvous point before going to the lake where  Stephen will share suggestions and challenges of nature photography.  Then we’ll all attempt to capture some images.

Afterwards, anyone  interested in sharing your favorite photos from the morning can gather
at Farm’s Reach Café.

Photographers of all levels are invited, with any camera or
smartphone. Perhaps we’ll see ducks or geese on the lake, and maybe it
will be misty, icy, or snowy. (If the weather’s just too bleak, we’ll
change the date to Friday, December 8.) Due to very limited parking in
winter, we’ll meet nearby to carpool.

RSVP to Chris at JLTnatural@saveland.org for location and details.
