• Anderson Lake — for winter photography.
• Ft. Casey on Whidbey Island — to explore forests, shores, and the
  lagoon.
• North Beach, Chinese Gardens, and Kah Tai Lagoon — for birding.
• Kinney Point on Marrowstone — to study that habitat.
